I also had cucumber sandwiches last wednesday that I thought were terrific. Apparently, this makes me an old lady.
My explanation for asking is this. I always, always think of green.
I don't know why. It's in my hardwiring. I can't find the point of origin. I have thought about it, searching way back into my memory. I just can't figure out why. I figured there had to be something, like "Back in the 70's, Chez explored texture and color while making the bathroom into an arts and crafts project." We had some great almost-neon, but no quite vinyl-ish wallpaper in the bathroom but alas, no green felt.
So in asking my question, I really expected to find out that everyone was hardwired to think of green felt. After a day of answers (and no one responding "GREEN"), I guess I have a new question....
WHY DID YOU THINK OF THAT COLOR OF FELT??

I had the pleasure of speaking with Barbara a few years back. She was very intelligent and inspirational.
"Only the person who risks is truly free."

Whenever others see you dance, they too will become aware that there is no time for hesitation. 39.5 million people are living with HIV. A lot can be done by good education and by combating taboos. Young people are the group most at risk: every day, over 6,000 people between 15-24 years old are infected. We want the young to become leaders, instead of targets.

Frankly, it doesn't get better than this....

The Bank is selling these pins for $1 each as part of the America Heart Associations GO RED FOR WOMEN campaign. Last year, I offered to buy pins for anyone who wanted one. This year, I will glady do the same. Just reply if you would like a pin, I would be happy to donate the dollar and pick one up for you.
Each February the American Heart Association runs the Go Red for Women campaign. This program seeks to raise funds and awareness to the fact that Heart Disease is the nation's #1 killer of women. Companies are encouraged to have days where employees donate money to dress casual - and hopefully wear something
RED - to raise much needed funds for the AHA, but also to bring about awareness to this concern.
I guess that's how the future's done
